Thoughts for the First Day of School

I had a guest speaker in one of my masters classes recommend the book The Four Agreements' by don Miguel Ruiz.  These agreements seem very timely as we head back to school tomorrow.

1.  Be impeccable with your word.
2.  Don't take anything personally.
3.  Don't make assumptions.
4.  Always do your best.

This will be a short post tonight as there is much to finalize for tomorrow.  However, I hope that whether you are a parent, grandparent, student, teacher, or staff member, you will think about how we can use these four agreements to create a wonderful place to learn.  I will be discussing them with the students tomorrow and they may come up in future blogs.

I hope you had a great Labor Day Weekend and I am so very excited to welcome the AlBrook and Cotton students back to school tomorrow.

We'll see you at school!
